The Amputee Support Association Sunshine Coast Inc. is a self-funded, non-profit organization, run solely by volunteers dedicated to the support of ALL Amputees, their families and carers. We are a voluntary organization whose only funding comes from memberships, fundraising and donations. We have a quarterly newsletter with up-to-date information to assist the Amputee.
Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month except in December and January at Club Mooloolaba, Cnr of Brisbane Street and Kapala Stree, Mooloolaba at 10.00am. Cafe and bistro available for drinks and food.
We have two Patrons: Ms Fiona Simpson, State Member for Maroochydore and Mr Jarrod Bleijie, State Member for Kawana.
We visit new amputees in hospitals on the Sunshine Coast to give support and information. We also provide support for families and carers.
We run a varied social program as well as exciting upcoming events set on the Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas.
